Systems Engineer

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in networking.
• Practical experience operating and configuring network equipment and security devices: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers (Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei equipment).
• Practical experience with server equipment: Servers, Data Storage Systems (HP, Dell, Lenovo).
• Experience designing and deploying communications networks, including drafting technical specifications and interacting with equipment vendors.
• Understanding of network switching and routing protocols at the CCNA level or higher (certifications are a plus).
• Understanding of the OSI L2 model (VLAN, Link Aggregation, STP).
• Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack.
• Understanding of Dynamic Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Understanding of protocols and technologies: SSL VPN, IPsec, DMVPN, NAT.
• Experience with SIP telephony is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot corporate networks, experience diagnosing and resolving issues with network equipment and network settings.
• Knowledge of information security fundamentals.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn and self-study.
• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand technical literature.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architecture of a corporate communications network, including scalability and high availability.
• Analysis of the customer's existing infrastructure.
• Identifying deficiencies in the customer's existing systems.
• Connecting, configuring, and commissioning equipment.
• Consulting the customer as a technical specialist on the equipment.
